Mechanical Engineer

Position
The Mechanical Engineer reports directly to the Plant Manager of Duyvis Wiener Germany. Functionally, the Mechanical Engineer reports to the Manager Engineering of the holding Duyvis Wiener B.V. in The Netherlands.
Responsibility / Scope
The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for all engineering related activities, mile stones and deliverables coming out of the engineering process of Duyvis Wiener Germany. All activities applies to the engineering standard process, procedures and structure of the holding.
Profile
Working in a technical and internationally oriented company, you will need to be proactive and a great team player.
- Over 10 years of experience in a mechanical engineering role
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with CAD systems (Autodesk: Inventor, Vault, preferably Autocad)
- Bachelor degree in Mechanical engineering (minimum)
- Knowledge of (European) Machine Directives and procedures
- A good command of the English and German language
- Team player
- Excellent coordinating and project leading skills in engineering projects
- Experienced in working in an international setting
- Able to work independently
- Living 30-45 min from Aachen, or is willing to move to the area
- Regular travel the head-office in the Netherlands (Amsterdam area) is required
