Specifications / USP's
Standard the conveyor belt systems are installed on floor mounted columns. Ceiling suspension with special fixing devices is a possibility. A cone belt is centered on the underside of the steel belt for true running. The driving station consists of a sheet steel construction with a large reversing and driving drum. A groove in the center of the drum achieves the exact guidance of the steel belt. A special coating at the circumference of the drum improves the adhesion of the drum to drive of the steel belt.
The required motor power depends on the length of the conveyor belt. Standard length is up-to 40 meters, but longer sizes can be supplied with increased motor power.
On the opposite side of the belt, a tensioning station is mounted with a large turning disk.
The shaft bearings of the turning disk are outside the housing of the tensioning station. This shaft is adjustable in longitudinal direction adjustment can be made by two manually operated threaded spindles. Springs in the adjusting units keep the belt tension on a constant level. The actual expansive power is measurable on a display on the adjusting units. The belt tension can be exactly set by a measuring test at the display.
All segments of the conveyor are connected by means of intermediary stations, on which the steel belt slides on top in transport direction and supporting rollers in the lower part. Ascending stations are installed so the conveyor can compensate differences in height, with a standard reversing angle of 22°.
